The Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Yard Co. (ASRY) was inaugurated at a ceremony presided over by His Highness the Ruler of Bahrain. The Ruler, Shaikh Isa bin Sulman Al-Khalifa, blessed the yard by pouring holy water from the Well at Zam Zam into the drydock and declared it officially open.
